Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Xorrel AI ("the app"), a Shopify app operated by Aakash Pareek, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must also follow Shopify's own terms of service.
1. The service
The app scans your Shopify product catalog, scores it for AI shopping readiness, and suggests changes to product data such as categories, category attributes, vendor names, image alt text and descriptions. Suggested changes are applied only when you approve them, or automatically if you turn on the auto-apply setting.
2. Plans and billing
- The app offers a Free plan and paid monthly plans. Current prices and limits are shown in the app and on our website.
- Paid plans are billed by Shopify through your Shopify invoice, and include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the app. Charges are prorated according to Shopify's billing rules. Unused AI fixes do not carry over to the next month.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Contact support@xorrelai.com.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing cycle.
3. Your responsibilities
- AI suggestions can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing changes before applying them, and for the accuracy of the product information in your store, including legal and regulatory claims.
- You confirm you have the right to the product content and images you process with the app.
- You will not use the app to create unlawful, misleading or infringing content, or try to disrupt, reverse engineer or abuse the service.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to your product data. You give us a limited permission to process it only to provide the service. Changes applied to your store remain yours, including after you cancel or uninstall.
5. Availability
We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the app improves, and some features depend on Shopify and our AI providers.
6. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, AI recommendation, traffic or sales result.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the three months before the claim.
8. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. After uninstall, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country.
